Data Protection

Privacy Policy

We appreciate your interest in our online shop. Protecting your privacy is very important to us. Below we inform you in detail about the handling of your data.

1. Access Data and Hosting

You can visit our websites without providing any personal information. Every time a webpage is accessed, the web server automatically saves a so-called server log file, which contains, for example, the name of the requested file, your IP address, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, and the requesting provider (access data), and documents the access.

This access data is evaluated solely for the purpose of ensuring trouble-free operation of the site and improving our offerings. According to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR, this serves to protect our predominantly legitimate interests in a correct presentation of our offerings within the framework of a balancing of interests. All access data is deleted no later than seven days after the end of your site visit.

Hosting Services by a Third-Party Provider
As part of processing on our behalf, a third-party provider provides us with the services for hosting and displaying the website. This serves to protect our predominantly legitimate interests in a correct presentation of our offerings within the framework of a balancing of interests. All data collected during the use of this website or in forms provided for this purpose in the online shop, as described below, are processed on its servers. Processing on other servers only occurs within the scope explained here.

This service provider is located within a country of the European Union or the European Economic Area.

2. Data Collection and Use for Contract Processing and When Opening a Customer Account

We collect personal data when you voluntarily provide it to us during your order, when contacting us (e.g., via contact form or email), or when opening a customer account. Fields marked as mandatory are identified as such because in these cases we need the data to process the contract, handle your contact or open your customer account, and without this information, you cannot complete the order, open the account, or send the contact message. The data collected can be seen from the respective input forms. We use the data provided by you according to Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. b GDPR for contract processing and handling your inquiries. After the complete processing of the contract or deletion of your customer account, your data will be restricted for further processing and deleted after the expiry of the retention periods under tax and commercial law, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to use your data beyond this, which is permitted by law and about which we will inform you in this statement. The deletion of your customer account is possible at any time and can be done either by sending a message to the contact option described below or via a function provided in the customer account.

3. Data Sharing

For the fulfillment of the contract according to Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. b GDPR, we pass on your data to the shipping company commissioned with the delivery, insofar as this is necessary for the delivery of ordered goods. Depending on which payment service provider you choose during the ordering process, we pass on the payment data collected for the purpose of processing payments to the bank commissioned with the payment and, if applicable, to payment service providers commissioned by us, or to the selected payment service. In part, the selected payment service providers also collect this data themselves, provided you create an account there. In this case, you must log in with your access data to the payment service provider during the ordering process. The privacy policy of the respective payment service provider applies in this respect.

4. Email Newsletter

Email Advertising with Newsletter Subscription
When you sign up for our newsletter, we use the data necessary for this purpose or separately provided by you to regularly send you our email newsletter based on your consent according to Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. a GDPR.

Unsubscribing from the newsletter is possible at any time and can be done by sending a message to the contact option described below or via a link provided in the newsletter. After unsubscribing, we will delete your email address unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data, or we reserve the right to use your data beyond this, which is legally allowed and about which we will inform you in this statement.

The newsletter is sent by a service provider on our behalf, to whom we pass your email address for this purpose.

This service provider is located within a country of the European Union or the European Economic Area.

5. Cookies and Web Analysis

To make visits to our website appealing and to enable the use of certain functions, to display suitable products, or for market research, we use so-called cookies on various pages. This serves to safeguard our predominantly legitimate interests in an optimized presentation of our offer according to Art. 6 para. 1 s. 1 lit. f GDPR. Cookies are small text files that are automatically stored on your device. Some of the cookies we use are deleted after the end of the browser session, that is, after you close your browser (so-called session cookies). Other cookies remain on your device and allow us to recognize your browser on your next visit (persistent cookies). The duration of storage can be found in the overview in the cookie settings of your web browser. You can configure your browser to inform you about the setting of cookies and decide individually about their acceptance or exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general. Use of Google (Universal) Analytics for Web Analysis
This website uses Google (Universal) Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC (www.google.com), for website analysis. This serves to protect our predominantly legitimate interests in an optimized presentation of our offerings in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. Google (Universal) Analytics uses methods that enable the analysis of your use of the website, such as cookies. The information automatically collected about your use of this website is typically transmitted to and stored on a server operated by Google in the USA. By activating IP anonymization on this website, the IP address is shortened before being transmitted within the member states of the European Union or other contracting states of the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The anonymized IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not generally merged with other Google data. Once the purpose has been fulfilled and the use of Google Analytics by us has ended, the data collected in this context will be deleted.

Google LLC is headquartered in the USA and is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield. A current certificate can be viewed here. Due to this agreement between the USA and the European Commission, the latter has determined that companies certified under the Privacy Shield provide an adequate level of data protection.

You can prevent Google from collecting data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) as well as the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de

Alternatively to the browser plugin, you can click this link, to prevent Google Analytics from collecting data on this website in the future. This action will store an opt-out cookie on your device. If you delete your cookies, you will need to click the link again to reactivate the opt-out.

6. Advertising through Marketing Networks

Google AdWords Remarketing
Through Google AdWords, we advertise this website in Google search results as well as on third-party websites. When you visit our website, Google sets what's known as a Remarketing cookie, which automatically enables interest-based advertising through a pseudonymous CookieID based on the pages you have visited. This serves to protect our predominantly legitimate interests in the optimal marketing of our website according to Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f GDPR. After the purpose has been fulfilled and the use of Google AdWords Remarketing by us has ended, the data collected in this context will be deleted.

Further data processing only occurs if you have agreed with Google to link your web and app browsing history to your Google account and to use information from your Google account to personalize ads that you see on the web. If you are logged into Google during your visit to our website, Google uses your data along with Google Analytics data to create and define audience lists for cross-device remarketing. To this end, your personal data is temporarily linked with Google Analytics data by Google to form target groups.

Google AdWords Remarketing is a service offered by Google LLC (www.google.com). Google LLC is headquartered in the USA and is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield. A current certificate can be viewed here. Due to this agreement between the USA and the European Commission, the latter has determined that companies certified under the Privacy Shield provide an adequate level of data protection.

You can disable the remarketing cookie through this link. Additionally, you can register with the Digital Advertising Alliance to be informed about the setting of cookies and make adjustments to these settings.

Right of Objection

As far as we process personal data as explained above to protect our legitimate interests, which prevail in the context of a balancing of interests, you can object to this processing with future effect. If the processing is for other purposes, you have the right to object only on grounds arising from your particular situation.
